St George’s College students amongst top ten in country

Two students from St George’s College in Weybridge have scored amongst the top ten in the country in their recent A Level and GCSE examinations, it was confirmed today by the UK’s largest awarding body EdExcel.
St George’s Sixth student, Sean Fanning, 18, from West Byfleet, excelled amongst all other candidates in his A Level Government and Politics exam to achieve one of the top ten scores in the country.
Fifth Form student, Jackson Lippold, 16, from Walton on Thames didn’t fail to impress either and beat a staggering 5,032 UK candidates to achieve a top ten score in the GCSE Chemistry exam.
St George’s College Headmaster, Joe Peake said that he was very proud of the achievements of these two students and he added: “It must be extremely invigorating for the students to know that you are amongst the very best in the country and for the teachers to know that your lessons have helped to deliver such a standard”.
