Fr Francis turns 90!

Josephite Priest, Fr Francis Owen CJ, celebrated his 90th birthday on Monday 15th October 2007.
Fr Francis attended St George's College as a student from 1925 to 1935 although most of you will remember him as Headmaster of the former Junior School (Woburn Hill School) from 1964 - 1984. He remains Honorary Secretary of the OGA.
A gathering of past parents, former students, staff and "friends" of St George's College enjoyed Sunday lunch in the Josephite Community residence of the White House, and wished Fr Francis a Happy Birthday.
During the day Fr Francis received phone calls from OG Gordon Hewitt who lives in Malta and from the former SGC Chaplain, Sr Kitty Ellard who is now based in Boston, USA.

Fr Andrew, Fr Christopher, Fr Aidan, Br Michael, Fr Martin, Geraldine Paul, Martina Ennis, Jane (ex WHS staff), Brian and Sue Cameron, Pam Willson (ex WHS staff and widow of Doug Willson former SGC tennis coach), Sandra Tyrell (ex WHS Secretary), Peter & Frankie Johncox (ex WHS and SGC parents), Tracey (Community Caterer) and Mark Jones, Neil Twist (OG, ex parent, ex Chair of Governors).
