St George's facilities chosen for Olympic Pre-Games Training Guide

After an apprehensive wait for a decision, St George’s College heard the news that it has been successful in its bid to be included amongst the facilities to be offered in the London 2012 Pre-Games Camp Training Guide to be issued to all National Olympic Committees. The College has been selected to offer facilities in Hockey, Athletics and Archery.

College Bursar, Phillip Fletcher, said the College was extremely proud of its sporting facilities and thrilled to be included in the Guide. We must now hope that one of the Olympic teams will choose St George’s for pre-Olympic training.
