OG Chris Blair tells us about Dyscover

Message from Chris Blair (OG 65)

ChrisBlair

I went to SGC from 1958 to 1964 and my main claim to fame is that I was in the first eleven for cricket for two years.

After I had left I went to work as a Trainee Solicitor in Addlestone and then I qualified as a Solicitor in 1972 and worked at Linklaters who were one of the leading firms in the City of London. I then moved to Rabin Leacock as a partner 1979.

I moved on to Bangkok but it was on my return that I got a stroke. I have been married for 37 years to Jil and I have two daughters, Madeleine and Melanie. Apart from my family, my main interest are rugby, cricket and reading.

I would like to tell you about Dyscover and what they have to offer......"

DYSCOVER

Dyscover provides support, encouragement and hope to people with dysphasia. The charity helps them to adjust to living with dysphasia on a long-term basis.

They run activities which enable people to communicate to the best of their abilities in a happy and stimulating environment.

They give information and advice to dysphasic people and their families and help people to find leisure and social activites that improve their quality of life.

Dyscover is run by speech and language therapists who are able to provide professional guidance.
