Work Placements
Can you provide a work placement? Are you able to offer a work placement to one of the following?
* 5th Year students - 1 week's work experience
5th Year students complete their work experience after their GCSEs. This year the planned week begins Monday 30th June 2008. Do you have a friend or family member who could provide a placement for a student or know of an organisation that might be willing to offer a placement? Trident is responsible for checking an organisation's suitability and will do so if a placement is offered, they specify a company must have 5 or more employees. This year there is particular demand for Law placements and Events Organising.
* University Students - Work experience during the holidays or during sandwich courses
Are you able to offer OGs who are studying at university some work experience during the holidays or a work placement a sandwich course? Contact the Development Office and advise us if you feel you might be able to offer an appropriate placement.

Careers
Are you able to offer advice and information on a particular career? Perhaps you can offer some assistance to the School for one of the following:
- 6th Form interviews (assist as a member of a panel interviewing students on a summer evening)
- Provide a careers talk and join students during a business lunch at the School
- University advice - could you give a talk on your own degree course to L6 students
- Join students for a networking lunch in June at the Lower Sixth Opportunities Afternoon
- Speak to students at the 4th Year Careers Convention held on site at the College
